LEAD LEAK CHECK
Check your last 10 WhatsApp and Instagram enquiries for missed replies and missing follow-up.
No form, no sign-up. You fill the table on your side and see where enquiries slip: no answer, a slow answer, no next step, or nobody knows how it ended.
How it works
- Pick your last 10 enquiries. Use any channel: WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook, phone calls, your website, walk-ins. Go back as far as you need to reach 10.
Don't write customer names or phone numbers. Number them 1 to 10. Clinics: no patient details at all, just the time and what happened. This page has no fields and nothing you do here is sent anywhere.
- Answer four questions for each one: who answered, how fast, was a next step agreed, and did they buy?
- Count the answers and read your result below. It takes about 10 minutes if your messages are on your phone.
Before you start: decide what "fast" means for you
Write one number in your head or on the sheet: "A reply within ___ minutes counts as fast for my customers."
Pick it the way your customers would, not the way your team would. A quick check: how long would they wait before messaging someone else?
(We don't give you a benchmark. No figure exists for your sector and city that we can stand behind.)
The table (copyable, 10 rows)

Column help:
- Channel: WhatsApp · Instagram · Facebook · phone · website · walk-in · other.
- Who answered first: me · a named role (reception, sales, secretary) · nobody · an automatic message (count the first human answer separately).
- Time to first reply: minutes or hours from their message to the first human answer. Write "none" if nobody answered.
- Next step agreed: a price sent, a visit booked, a call set, a quote promised… or "none".
- Followed up after: did anyone come back to them after the first conversation, without them having to chase?
- Bought: yes, no, or don't know. "Don't know" is an answer, not a blank.
The checklist: count your answers
| Check | Count (out of 10) |
|---|---|
| Who answered: enquiries with no human answer | ___ |
| How fast: enquiries answered slower than your own "fast" number | ___ |
| Next step: enquiries that ended with no next step agreed | ___ |
| Follow-up: enquiries where a next step was needed but nobody came back | ___ |
| Bought: enquiries where the answer is "don't know" | ___ |
| Leaked rows: rows with at least one of the five above | ___ |
How to read your result
This reads your ten rows only. It doesn't predict sales, revenue or what any change would earn you.
Your number of leaked rows
- 0–2: Your process mostly holds. Look at the rows that leaked: is it the same channel, the same time of day, or the same person each time?
- 3–6: There's a pattern. Usually one of the five checks explains most of it. Find the column with the highest count and start there.
- 7–10: Follow-up depends on memory more than on a process. That's common when one person answers everything on one phone. It's fixable, and it's worth seeing which step breaks first.
What each check usually points to, with something you can do by hand this week
| If this count is your highest | What it usually points to | Try this by hand, this week |
|---|---|---|
| No human answer | Messages land somewhere nobody watches (a second number, Facebook, comments, after hours) | List every place an enquiry can arrive. Give each one a named person |
| Slower than your "fast" | Replies wait for the one person who knows the answer (often the owner) | Write 3 standard first replies (price range, location, next step) that anyone on the team can send |
| No next step | Conversations answer the question and stop | End every first reply with one concrete next step and a day |
| Nobody followed up | Follow-up lives in someone's head | Keep one shared list: name of the enquiry (no phone numbers needed), next step, day. Check it every morning |
| "Don't know" if they bought | Nobody links enquiries to sales | For the next 10 enquiries, write the outcome next to each one, even if it's "no" |
Small print: These are patterns, not a diagnosis. Ten rows is a small sample, and one busy week can skew it.

Who's behind this page, and how your WhatsApp chat is handled
This page is published by Tarek Abou Rjeily, trading as tar/, an AI consulting and build practice in Kaslik, Lebanon. Contact: tar@tarekrjeily.com.
This page: it has no fields and stores nothing you enter. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
If you message tar/ on WhatsApp: you start the chat. Tarek uses the chat only to answer your request and arrange the free review. He keeps a short record of the business, the market, your answers to three questions and the outcome, with no chat transcripts, on Cloudflare servers outside Lebanon and the Gulf. If you commented on Instagram, the record also holds your Instagram handle and a short snippet of the comment (up to 140 characters; the snippet is deleted after 30 days). Records with no follow-up are deleted after 6 months. If you become a client, records are kept for the working relationship plus 24 months.
Services involved: Cloudflare (hosting and the record, US-based), Meta (Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, where the conversation happens), Telegram (internal alerts with counts only, never your details) and Anthropic (an AI drafting tool used with Tarek present, never given your details).
